SCIENCE TRAINING
WORKSHOP (half day)
This session answers all instructional questions to help teachers meet the needs of each student in the science classroom. Ways to maximize vocabulary development and integrate content will be on the agenda as well. With our science training, teachers will learn how to get all students to pass the Science STAAR® Test.
MATH TRAINING
WORKSHOP
Our Math Training focuses on deep understanding of all math TEKS student expectations for grades 3-5. Emphasis is given to critical thinking strategies designed to help students understand and master each student expectation at both the concrete and abstract level. Finally, teachers will be trained on how each student expectation will be assessed on STAAR® so they can be sure that classroom assessment will be on target and ensure student mastery of skills.
WRITING TRAINING
WORKSHOP
These sessions focus on the essential writing traits that all students need when expressing themselves on paper. Find out how to get your students to make sense, and write like they mean it. Learn how to teach specific grammar, punctuation and capitalization skills, and what a good complete sentence really looks like.

READING TRAINING
WORKSHOP
These sessions will focus on all reading objectives students must master in order to pass the STAAR® Test. Teachers will learn how to increase comprehension and fluency amongst students, and how to teach specific reading skills, such as main idea, summarizing, sequencing, fact and opinion, and inference. Find out what else is necessary for your students to become successful readers and the secret to getting all your students to pass the Reading STAAR® Test.
CONSULTING
