McAllen Workshop 2022

Price:
Each workshop is $250 per person. If you sign up with 3 or more teachers, each workshop is $200 per person.

The Workshops:
Science Workshop (2 Sessions): This training will focus on the essential science strategies students need to master the science TEKS.

Writing Workshop: This ALL NEW training will focus on the essential writing traits students need when expressing themselves on paper. Editing, Revision and the new ELAR TEKS will also be discussed.

Reading Workshop: Teachers will learn how to increase comprehension and how to teach specific reading skills, such as inferencing, main idea and summary. The new ELAR TEKS will be discussed.

Math Workshop: Emphasis is given to critical thinking strategies designed to help students understand and master each student expectation at both the concrete and abstract level.
