STAAR Science Investigation Journal: Grade 5

This resource will help your students conduct short investigations to make concrete connections to some of the abstract ideas that they are studying in science. Students will have a chance to make observations, conduct investigations, collect data and draw conclusions about what it means. The goal of this resource is to provide a hands on experience to connect concepts to the content that the students are learning in the classroom. By merging the two, we know that this will enhance the learning experience for the student, thus enabling them to retain the information and transfer it to performance assessments over time.
