Both the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 and the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Improvement Act of 2004 included language that propelled the Response to Intervention (RtI) approach to a national level. These laws, both designed to ensure high quality education for all students in the United States, set requirements for education systems to implement early interventions in order to prevent failure rather than waiting for student failure before providing intervention. Essentially, the intent was to create a proactive system rather than a reactive system. This CD is essential for keeping in compliance with the federal law. It contains the process and forms needed to accomplish the goal. The CD allows you to type in information and print needed forms.
